I have no idea how old this page is, but I think it’s pretty current.
The Royal Mint have released pictures of the newly designed british coins, and I have to say, I think they’re great.
The use of the Royal Arms is logical, and the fact that for once, all the coins follow a design theme is inspired.
I look forward to carrying them in my pocket.

The New Designs Revealed

It appears the geekuppery has made this over my neck of the woods for a change.
I shall be trying my very best to make it over, I am quite surprised that no-one has mentioned it on Northpack yet.

The world of Science Fiction and Fantasy, takes another hit, the list keeps getting longer.

16 September 2007 - Robert Jordan, author of the Wheel of Time series of books, dies.
13 December 2007 - Terry Pratchett, author of discworld series of books, diagnosed with early onset Alziemers.
04 March 2008 - Gary Gygax, creator of D&D, dies.
19 March 2008 - Arthur C Clarke, author of 2001: A Space Oddessy, dies.

Inspire developments new site has just gone live, I’m very happy with the new site, it’s very high impact and although quite wordy, hopefully the typography makes it quite readable.

This is the first time I have used the script.aculo.us animation framework on a site and although people say it’s a bit code heavy, it’s quite simple to implement.
